Ask Me (Almost) Anything

Have you ever been a part of a conversation that is super one-sided? The person drones on and on, and you can't get a word in edgewise. Well, that's how I've been feeling about the blog lately. A whole lotta me talking and not much else. I know that this is a blog, but I do want to make this space more of a conversation with you all.

Sooo I've decided to just leave the comments section open for your questions for me. The questions can be about food, travel, or even about me. I'll answer personal questions within reason. :) Depending on the question, I may turn it into a post and will give you the credit as the source/inspiration. I know that there are forums/processes for this like Formspring. I think I have an account on there that I don't even check anymore (and never really did).

Okay, fire away.

If I don't get any questions, I'll just assume that you all are out there nodding and smiling happily. :) (Oh come on, you know you do it sometimes!)

Hmmm...

1. What's your favorite childhood memory?

2. If you had to run out of your burning house and save one thing and one thing only, what would it be?

3. What's the saddest moment you've gone through?

If you could have only one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Or, if you could plan your last meal, how and what would you pick?

It was so nice meeting you today! You are so sweet. I'm sure you were wondering, who is this crazy woman coming up to me looking a hot mess!! Lol.
Take care and I promise to be more active on your blog.

Oh, my twitter name is CaligirlSM :)

P.S. - To answer your question, if you could only travel to one place in the world, where would it be?

Hi Terri - You alluded to people asking to have their picture taken with you when you were traveling through Turkey (I believe it was Turkey). Could you elaborate on that? I'm asian and have had some, um, interesting responses from people on my travels. For example, I've had a couple of people in Europe comment on how well I speak English.

Anonymous,

Oy!!! I am definitely going to address this issue. I have NOT forgotten. I'm trying to finish it actually, and I want the words and the tone to be appropriate.

I'm late to the party on this, but I'll ask anyway. I've not read all of your archives, so feel free to point me elsewhere if you've already addressed it.

Do you have a travel style? As in, do you prefer to explore the sights on your own, or tours? What about accommodations? Hostels/Couch-Surfing or hotels? Airfare? Bargain coach or first/business class? Has your style evolved over the years?

What a great idea! Here's a couple I thought of right away -- Do you have any advice for traveling with someone who has a completely different vacation style? Have you ever been totally surprised by something in your travels you thought you'd hate but ended up loving?
